Born in Liverpool in 1963, he is a UK based artist working mainly within his immediate surroundings. He gained a first class B.A. degree in 1998, followed by an M.A. at the London College of Communication in 2002. Interested in environmentalism from an early age, he has fund-raised for an environmental pressure group, which in turn drew him to the landscape. His work becoming increasingly internationally recognised, he is represented by The Photographers' Gallery in London and The Nailya Alexander Gallery in New York
