Nick Barber is based in Huddersfield, West Yorkshire, and Stean, in Nidderdale, North Yorkshire. Whilst in Huddersfield he runs an IT support business and plays the horn in the Huddersfield Philharmonic Orchestra and Orchestra of Square Chapel. While in Stean he gets out into the countryside and takes pictures of what he sees, as well as occasionally playing in Lofthouse and Middlesmoor Band. He plays for White Rose Morris Men, and is a member of ceilidh bands English Rebellion and the Village Hop Band, playing melodeon, horn, recorder and bass clarinet (
