Occasional military-style percussion cadences act as reminders of the film's setting, while a terrific, almost alien soundscape appears in "NVA Base Camp," lending further depth to the score. The CD features several standout solo instrumental passages, particularly in the tracks "Telegrams" and "Photo Montage," with some stirring choral work and throbbing electronic textures added for the final tracks.
