A.k.a. Groupsanity
Nick Sunchild started at an early age with electronica and PCs. Several apprenticeships in Metal, radio engineering and the IT Industry could not satisfy his knowledge thirst and creativity. He developed his passion for electronic music when he was 6 years old when he got a KraftWerk music tape, leaving a mark through his life. Coincidence or fate led the two to the Street parade in Zurich, Switzerland in the summer 2002. It was a rainy day, but a crowd of wet 650000 party people were celebrating, while Nick discovered Dylan Knightley in the dancing masses. Surprised, they looked at themselves and continued to celebrate on the Streetparade. Later, on the Energy 02 in the big fantastic Hall, they were both talking about the development of the music scene. These were the first steps toward the groupSanity project. In the same year, they were again on stage for their first live-acts. The facets of their life and meeting are reflected in the way of their interpretation of trance and techno music. trance and techno has become their identification and life attitude. The trance scene and music formed their identity. Trance is not a music direction. Trance has become a way of life! 2005 was the year of the first single release “Make a Decision”. After years of hard studio work he crashed together with the next trance generation and artist Andy Finn to bring up trance music to the next higher level.
