Nick Walusko grew up in Hollywood and got interested in music through all the mid-'60's pop culture stuff. He first met Darian Sahanaja with the help of Steve K. Kobishagawa who worked at a record shop on Venice Boulevard called "American Pie" where Darian used to buy all sorts of really cool singles. Nick and Darian started to work together in the mid to late 80s.
