Nicky Crane
Close friend of Ian Stuart Donaldson, Crane worked as security for Skrewdriver as well as providing some of their LP art. Crane was a member of the neo-nazi British Movement but first came to public prominence after he appeared on the cover of the LP Strength Thru Oi !. At the time of release Crane was in prison for a racially motivated attack. Garry Bushell, who chose the photo, was unware at the time of Crane's link to the far-right. Crane continued to be closely involved in far right causes such as Rock Against Communism and Blood And Honour. Many on the far-right, including Ian Stuart, shunned him after Crane announced that he was gay. Crane died a an AIDS related illness in 1993.
