A.k.a. Nicola Frances LeFanu
Nicola LeFanu (b. 1947) is a British composer and academic, daughter of Elizabeth Maconchy, Professor of Music and Head of Department at the University of York (1994-2001). She studied at St Hilda's College in Oxford, before taking up a Harkness Fellowship at Harvard University. In 1979, Nicola LeFanu married the composer David Lumsdaine (2).
