Born: 24th August 1919, Copenhagen, Denmark Died: 25th April 2000 Danish classical pianist and composer of modern classical music. Bentzon came from a musical family. He was the grand grandson of Johan Peter Emilius Hartmann, cousin to Jørgen Bentzon and flutist Johan Bentzon. Trained as pianist by a.o. Leo Mathisen, In the 60's he focused on twelve-note composition.
