"It gives you such a kick when you see the crowd go wild on your record." This is how Niels de Vries responded when he first spinned his own record in public. Even as a little boy Niels was captured by the power of music to addict you. He was destined to do something with music, the only question that had to be answered was what he was going to do.... After searching for a long time and playing various different instruments, he found his passion in House Music. The step of becoming a DJ seemed an apparant one! He started out on an attic, making sure his neighbours never went to bed early, getting a DJ-set every night for free.... Later on Niels moved from his attic to better spots in the nightlife of Utrecht, Amsterdam and Zaanstad, taking place in the DJ-booth of After Forever, Sundazed , and till the day of today he plays his energetic sets at Club Innerspace. Also the Lexion was no-longer an unknown place for Niels. Everybody who has ever experienced a DJ set of Niels will confirm that it boosts of energy. His music is a mixture between (hard) club and uplifting groove, now and then some techno influences, but above all songs with a 'energetic sound'. 'Energetic Sound' definitely describes his first ever release: "See Me Kickin", released by ZZAP Recordings. Niels produced this record together with hit-producer G-Spott in G-Spott's hypermodern soundstudio. The positive result was that: - Partying Holland, often did their dance steps hearing this record in the late summer of 2003 - In the dance charts "See me kicking" scored a top 10 hit for 3 weeks with highest position no.7 - The single got on compilation cd?s in foreign countries - In januari 2004 Niels first record was released in Germany, by the label "Aqualoop" In 2006 the new release by Niels called '12 Inch' has become a real club hit all over Europe.
