The natural, infectious exuberance of St. Lucia ubbles excitingly throughout this album, rejuvenating Perez Prado's famous oldie, Patricia, and adding West Indian rhythm-spice to the Carpenters' For All You Know, Superstar, from the record-smashing show - even adding a new dimension to Kitch's Curfew. The skin work of Rudy Auguste, definitely one of the most adventurous percussionists in the Caribbean today, is nothing short of spellbinding - hypnotic. It takes over control of your feet - and soul! Listen to Emerson Nurse on electric organ and you'll experience the thrill enjoyed by the hordes of fans who turn up each Night Train gig. Nurse, Night Train's leader, also arranged the numbers on this album. A veritable twentieth century Pied Piper. Addison Nelson on electric bass and Anthony Francis on rhythm guitar are two more of the secret ingredients in this appetising Night Train game. Enjoy it! Just six months old, Night Train is going places, non-stop to hitsville. Two months ago Night Train's astute manager, Terry Clarke (a fine musician in his own right) discovered the Superbs and combined their inimitable sound with that of the Night Train. Sample some of their work in The Loser and The Way I Feel penned by Mervyn Blanchard and Lucas Marshall (the Superbs) and arranged by Emerson Nurse is probably the Caribbean's answer to Burt Bacharach.
