Producer of Dance
This Argentinean dj and producer is always looking for new sounds. Nika Demio knows how to mix dark atmospheres with cool rhythms between house and techno music. Nika Demio grew up in a family with a highly artistic environment that motivated her creativity. Influenced by rock and blues she looked for new sounds and met electronic music in her adolescence. She did her first gig when she was 17 at a main club in Buenos Aires. From that moment she started a great career as a dj playing at the most important clubs in Argentina and also for raves in Uruguay. At 18 she got her first residence for an underground club in Buenos Aires downtown. And nowadays she’s residing at Jah Bar, one of the most relevant clubs in Argentina. In 2007 she got a weekly radio show on KSK FM Radio and since that time, sponsored by Kosiuko Trade Mark, she is playing every weekend at Kosiuko’s Store in Buenos Aires. But her career took a turn in 2008 when the project “Bubbles On The Air” began. Nika Demio founded Bubbles On The Air with Elekha in March 2008 with the idea of changing the local scene. They created a radio show promoting national and international djs and producers. This project grew up. Mourece joined to Bubbles On The Air’s staff in the early 2009 and for the end of that year they created Bubbles On The Air : Radio, with a podcast concept including different channels hosted by most of the best house and techno music labels and companies from different countries such us Germany, USA, Switzerland, Spain, etc., reaching a high acceptance, what made Nika becomes one of the most recognized artists of the Argentinean scene around the world. 2011 is a very important year for Nika Demio. The creation of Bubbles On The Air : Label flips her career again. This time she shows the world her work as a producer editing her first EP for her own label, beginning a new stage that surely will be more than successful for her.
