Nikki Oniyome 鬼嫁日記 is Scandinavian indietronica music project with a preference for dark, evocative nordic pop. Acoustic guitars and piano are interwoven with electronic elements, making a backdrop for a distinctive vocal. Inspired by the art pop, post punk and singer-songwriter tradition of Kate Bush, PJ Harvey, Johnny Cash and Beth Gibson, the electronic trip hop music by Portishead, Massive Attack, Röyksopp, and other contemporary scandinavian indietronic music such as Björk, the Knife, Fever Ray, Gundelach and Mø.
