A.k.a. Nikolay Kot
Born in 1980 in St. Petersburg (Russia) Nikolay became interested in Electronic Music in 1995 at the age of 15. Not content with simply being a listener to Electronic Music, he began to experiment with production by producing mashup’s and remixes. NIkolay had taken a break from producing to pursue other things but in 2010 he returned to writing electronic music under the alias Niko Kot. Nikolay’s chosen genre is techno, but he has recently branched out and now also produces Deep House and D&B. In 2012 Nikolay created the project “Abztrakte Maschine”, which has no stylistic limitations allowing him to be as creative as possible. In 2013, he released his first EP on The Russian network label and has since joined Minimal System Recordings.
