Nip Nelson (1914-1986) was an impressionist known as the ``man with a thousand voices,`` In 1934, he left a pre-medical college program for the vaudeville stage, and over the next half century entertained in nightclubs, movies and on radio and television. He moved from Chicago to Florida in 1968 and was a cruise director and entertainer on Caribbean cruise ships for 14 years.
