"No Self Control" is the current backup band for Son Of Bazerk, composed of MC Halfpint (Cassandra Jackson), Almighty Jahwell (Jeffrey Height), Daddy Rawe (Gary Stanton), and producer/DJ Johnny Juice Rosado (of The Bomb Squad and the Slam Jamz label. 1990-'92, the backup group went by the longer name "No Self Control And The Band" and had a fuller lineup: Sandman (25) (Mark Gillette) was a vocalist member during the first album and subsequent singles (1991-'92) but did not rejoin the group when it reunited in the 2010 to release a second album. Instrumentalist band members from the first era were guitarist Michael Hampton (ex-Funkadelic and Parliament), keyboard player Cliff Branch, bassist Chris Walker (ex-bassist for Ornette Coleman), and DJs Kamron (Young Black Teenagers) and Terminator X (Public Enemy).
