Album BE 2018 on Consouling Sounds label
Electronic (Ambient)
A collaboration between No One & Ashtoreth. The physical CD is released on a ltd. 200 copies only and can be bought through Consouling Records: consouling.be/release/redemption “Redemption” is a remarkable collaborative effort between Belgian artists No One and Ashtoreth. Ashtoreth improvised a track and then No One worked his magic. He took the track, decomposed it, and recomposed it, with soundscape, drones, field recordings and arrangements added. “Redemption” grew organically out of the ashes of the Ashtoreth improv into a thrilling and utterly gripping work of art, making the one hour trip a truly enthralling, yet galling redemption. "In a way, this album is a modern version of classical compositions like 'Ma Vlast' by Bedřich Smetana. Here, music is not used to rock-out, to dance or to bang your head. Here, a vast array of sounds are being used to create alternate realities, and that is the beauty of 'Redemption'. Two talented and skilled sound-puppeteers guiding the magic of music. So undoubtedly I will recommend this album to anyone out there. It's one of the most enigmatic collaborations in today's ambient scene and a unique experience" (Merchants of Air)
