A.k.a. Norlan Leygonier Santana
Born and raised in the ghetto's of Havana (Cuba), NORLAN is known in his country and around the world as a the wallbreaker and a pioneer of Cuban hiphop music. His fans and music professionals call him: NORLAN: "El Misionario". Since the first official Cuban hip hop festival in 1997, NORLAN has been invited back each year as a special guest artist, sharing the stage with big artists such as Mos-Def, The Roots and Common to name a few. In the spring of 2005, NORLAN decided to leave his group Alto Voltaje to continue his career as a solo artist, focusing mainly on the European and Latin American markets. For this moment NORLAN has finished his solo debut, that came out in June 2007 under LEJAL GLOBE record label, that is a brand new sister-label of long-running LEJAL GENES label from Estonia. He's debut album is a combination of unique Latin hip-hop, reggaeton and other hot Latin rhythms.
