Founded in 1984, The Norwegian Rhythm Kings (NRK) was a jazz super group from Norway. The band members were hand picked from some of Norway's finest traditional jazz bands such as Canal Street Jazzband (NO), Christiania Jazzband, Ytre Suløens Jass-Ensemble, Ophelia Ragtime Orchestra, Stokstad / Jensen Trad.Band and Hot Club De Norvege.
