Novus Percutere is a newly formed percussion duo comprised of Dr. Justin Alexander and Dr. Luis Rivera. Long time friends since their days together at Florida State University, NP aims to perform and commission works that appeal to their similar tastes in contemporary, rock, pop, and classical music. They have performed concerts around the United States and are currently working on their first studio album with producer/engineer Matt Filosa, to be recorded at the University of South Alabama. NP travels around the country performing concerts and master classes for percussionists of all ages and interests.
