1955-2012

Born: August 12, 1955; Died: April 3, 2012. Graduated from Aiea High School in 1973. Samoan heritage, but kumu hula (Hawaiian hula teacher). Songwriting and performing included Hawaiian (traditional chant and traditional melodious songs in the Hawaiian language), contemporary, and funk / soul. Director of the Paradise Cove Lu'au on Oahu, Choir director of The Church of Jesus Christ of Later Day Saints that he attended, Helped develop the "We Are Samoa" program at the Polynesian Cultural Center. CDs included "Ke Kumu," "Maka," and "Aloha E." He was kumu hula for the men's halau "Ke Kai O Kahiki," repeat winner at Hilo's Merrie Monarch Festival.
