Rock and Latin
Panamanian rock band formed in 1982. One of the early rock bands in this country, Oceano topped the charts, both in Panama and Mexico in 1988 with the single "Él Derramó Su Amor Por Ti", from their second album "Conga Rock". In 1993, the band released their third album "No Se Gana Pero Se Goza", the first music album released in CD by a Panamanian band. Three singles from this album became instant hits: "Sofía", "Visa De Turista" and "Historia De Un Amor" (originally written by Panamanian composer Carlos Eleta Almarán). After that, the band kept on working, releasing some albums, recorded, mixed and mastered at Insomnio Studio in Panama.
