Autumn 2011. Drabbad (Lepra,Suicide) had spent a few years institutionalized. He was now getting himself ready to face the outside world once again. Pessimisten, Apati (2), there known as C9H13N) had recently disbanded his former band Apati, as a result of the death by overdose of one of the members. The two ended up with starting Ofdrykkja, and just a few months later, The Associate (Death Under Siege, Suicide) Arkomann and Bödeln joined them. 'Ofdrykkja' means "excessive drinking" in Old Norse, and pretty much explains the theme of the lyrics and musical influence for the band. Since the start the band has been running with the Devil with full speed. Mental Illness, delirium, drugs, self-mutilation, detox, knife violence, trigger happy policemen and a prison sentence are just a few things the band has dealt with. But out of all of this they managed to make a record! In 2014,"A Life Worth Losing" has been released on cassette by Temple Of Death Productions and will be released on Vinyl and CD by Avantgarde Music in the near future. Members: The Associate Drabbad (aka Alprazolam) Pessimisten (aka C9H13N) Stefan Wahlberg (aka Bödeln) Session member: Arkomann
