A.k.a. Mateo Zlatar
Offending Command is the sound based work of Mateo Zlatar. His Design and Art practices cross diverse disciplines including interactive installation, motion graphics, data visualization, interface design and sound design. In 1998 formed Lampa Listening, a pop and experimental project of eclectic and undefinable blend of genres, born out of his collaboration with José Miguel Tagle (vocals and lyrics) publishing a home-made album that circulated among friends in Santiago. in 2004-2005 Lampa Listening's unauthorized remix of Hall and Oates "I can't go for that" charted in Radio Concierto (Chile) for several months. In late 2005 Offending Command made its live debut at MonkeyTown in Williamsburg, New York and has produced a bunch of singles and remixes. Recently joined the forces of Radio Isla Negra (http://www.rinfm.com), for a weekly show named "Offending Material". Zlatar currently lives and work in Brooklyn, New York.
