Singer of Country
American cowboy-hillbilly singer with origins that stretched back into the 1920s, though he didn’t make it into the recording studio until 1945. Oklahoma Ed Moody occupied a musical territory somewhere between honky-tonk and western swing. In a recording career that lasted less than three years, he cut twenty tracks, roughly half of which were his own songs.
