A.k.a. Musikministeriet Ole And The Others
Danish beat/countryrock band from Thisted that goes back to 1963. Started out as a teengae band in 1963 as The Others. As most Danish groups in the 60's they were inspired by the English pop scene and by the late 60's they were renamed to "Ole & The Others". As "Ole and The Others" in the late 60's they recorded one singles for the local Jacks Beat Records label, but fashion and better wages once again set the bands style, and they switched back to danish lyrics and changed name to Ole & De Andre and released one more single for Jacks Beat Records. In the early 70's this pop/schlager band recorded a 7" for the rather advanced jazz/prog label Spectator Records label - a recording never released. In the mid 70's a casette and two two countryrock albums was released on Stuk offering the band some recognition in provincial Denmark leading to them being discovered by the national label Metronome. They signed the band in 1977 but changed their name to Musikministeriet in order to sound less provincial, but after one album the band returned to local awareness.
