Band,
Pop
Band that existed under this name from 1979-1982, made up of then former members of Ole Ivars. During the 1970's, "Ole Ivars" went through many lineup changes, culminating with the 1978 departure of (among others) Ole Ødegård (the "Ole" in "Ole Ivars"). Shortly thereafter, Ole Ødegård and other former members of Ole Ivars got together and formed Ole Ivars Veteranene (The Ole Ivars Veterans). The two Ole Ivars bands co-existed for three years, until 1982 when the band then calling itself Ole Ivars retired and Ole Ivars Veteranene went back to using the name Ole Ivars. The lineup has since then remained relatively unchanged. They released two albums under the "Ole Ivars Veteranene" name.
