Recorded at Farmen, November 2002. Introduction by Deli Vetja: "The Chinese Smile" is a collection of surreal and sound poetry written by Ole Lillelund and often recited unaccompanied at poetry readings. He met multi-instrumentalist/composer Jeffrey Morgan in the nineties, when both were part of the performance group Not A Toy, performing at the Roskilde Festival several years. They soon got plans for a recording of some different material which is presented here, proving once more that poetry and music belong together.
