Olga Milanich (b. 1977) is a Russian musician, Theremin performer. She used to play Theremin designed by Konstantin Kovalsky, earlier variation of the instrument. The pitch is regulated with a right hand, other sound parameters – through buttons with a left hand, and volume with a pedal. Olga started playing Theremin in her childhood and had been performing at the Moscow Conservatory since she was 15 years old. She studied the instrument with Zoia Ranevskaya-Dugina. Olga Milanich became a laureate of the Moscow Young Talents competition in 1993. She used to give solo concerts, performing compositions by Alexander Aliabiev, Tikhon Hrennikov, Georgi Sviridov, Camille Saint-Saëns, Michel Legrand and other composers. Milanich also participated in concerts of Sergei Kisluhin Orchestra of Russian Folk Instruments. In 1996-1997, Olga Milanich participated in conferences regarding the Theremin development and Lev Theremin's 100th anniversary in Moscow, Kazan and Tver. She also participated in the International Theremin Orchestra performances in Austria. Olga gave up career in music and became a teacher for gifted children at the elementary school.
