Olga Solovieva is a Russian pianist. She graduated from the Gnessin Academy of Music and continued her postgraduate studies there as an assistant to Professor Leonid Blok. Since 2004, Olga works as a professor at the Gnessin Musical College. Solovieva was a prize-winner at the Open Taneyev Chamber Music Competition (1999) and a finalist at the XX Chamber Music Competition in Trapani (2000). In 2002, Olga received the Best Accompanist Prize at the XII International Tchaikovsky Competition in Moscow. She is also a winner of Boris Tchaikovsky Society Award (2010). The pianist had performed internationally, collaborating with The Vanbrugh Quartet, Auryn Quartett, Vilnius Quartet, Mila Shkirtil, Roel Dieltiens (cello), William Dowdall (flute), Tai Murray (violin), Fanny Clamagirand (violin), Julian Bliss (clarinet), Hervé Joulain (horn) and Peter Whelan (bassoon). Her discography includes recordings for Toccata Classics, Albany Records, Northern Flowers, and Naxos.
