A.k.a. Neo (23)
Oliver Karan, better known by his stage name Neo, was a member of Hamburg hip hop formation Headliners. Having created a buzz in Northern Germany's hip hop scene in the early 2000s, Headliners signed with EMI/Capitol sub label Deluxe Records in 2004. After releasing several street albums, the group released the compilation album "Deluxe Records Let's Go" alongside MTV Europe Music Award winner Samy Deluxe and fellow Hamburg rapper Illo in 2005. The album peaked at #26 in the German album charts. That same year, Neo was featured as one of 2005's hottest new MC's in Juice Magazine, Europe's largest hip hop magazine, earning him a spot on their compilation CD "New Kidz On The Block." Headliners released "Das Album zum Film," their debut album on Deluxe, in 2006 before disbanding soon after.
