Olivier Caplin was together with Stephan Novak founding member of Amnesia. He left the group in the stage after publication of their single Ibiza and during the post-production stage of their first album. Reason for the early split was the production strategy for Amnesia, going to be more commercial, while Caplin pursued the underground character of the music. But Caplin did not break personally with Novak, only he refused to continue with the project. Shortly after his parting, Caplin started a career in fashion industry. First with Doc Martens, later amongst others with Wrangler/Lee. Currently, Caplin is regional leading salesman at Ligne Roset in France.
