Album RS 2018 on Ammonite Records label
Rock, Folk, World and (Indie Rock, Folk Rock)
One of the most appreciated indie-folk bands from former Yugoslav region, On Tour, released their third album “Don’t It Make You Want To Go Home” through joint release of Serbian record company Ammonite Records and Italian The Stone House Production digitally, on CD and 12” vinyl. Twelve songs of this album deliver a trade mark On Tour expression based upon the warm, emotional and melancholic vocals of Ivana Smolovic, blended with vocal polyphony and acoustic groove of guitar player Vladimir Marinovic and mandolin player Marko Cebic, with a touch of occasional percussions. The first single “Lorries and Trucks” is accompanied by a music video invoking the sweet aroma of a long gone times. “Don’t It Make You Want To Go Home” transcends a listener to a peaceful, harmonic place filled with forgotten sonic luxury, miles away from the everyday turmoil and fury. Contemplative, carefully carved lyrics and sounds of this album will undoubtedly qualify it among the best releases of rock music in Western Balkans, and perhaps even wider. Limited edition 200 copies of black vinyl and 100 copies of yellow vinyl.
