An interdisciplinary meeting between computer animation art and electronic music. Statements 04 brought together multimedia and animation artist Yves Netzhammer and the electromusers Opiate, Mouse on Mars and To Rococo Rot in Berlin in the year 2000. The Swiss Netzhammer confronts, in his works, the naturalness of the merciless forms of technological advancement. Netzhamer's computer animated work was shown on 28 screens. Opiate, Mouse on Mars and Two Rococo Rot played their own works specifically composed for Statements 4. The live performance was recorded and formed the following days soundtrack for Yves Netzhamer's works. An extensive catalog, including CD and CD-ROM, was published in connection with the exhibition.
