The debut LP from Lyon resident, Opti. For the last years, he released a few projects on several labels including Jarring Effects, F4t Music, DEMENT3D, Combat Recordings and Airflex Labs. As a label manager and promoter, he founded Airflex Labs (http://airflexlabs.com) in 2008 with Perkid and Led Piperz, building a strong local french scene and building bridges between Uk and France. Opti's music is really varied and depends on what he wants to produce at the time. On short records, he tends to produce Future Garage or Dubstep tinted Bass music while keeping more personal views about glitched HipHop and electronic experimentations on long play projects, 'The Letter D' then falling within the latter. "The record you’re about to listen to - or have already listened to - was made in one exact year (started on October 2009 and released on October 2010). I started it because a huge amount of things were changing in my life. Everything went so hectic that I really felt the need to write it down, and making music this way made everything suddenly coherent." 13 tracks total. The zip file also includes a pdf of 13 artworks. 1 for each track.
