Orbes is the duet Sophie Durand & Emmanuel Holterbach. They play a unique instrument, les verres enharmoniques (the enharmonic glasses), invented by Emmanuel Holterbach, designed by Emmanuel Holterbach and Sophie Durand and made by glass blower Christian Lazarotto in Grenoble in 2000. Since 2001, Orbes have played in various unpredictable resonant spaces, mostly in Europe. They have collaborate with Osso Exotico, Hitoshi Kojo and Pierre Berthet.
