Band,
Czech pop/rock orchestra, backing the vocal trio Golden Kids as well as its members Marta Kubišová, Helena Vondráčková and Václav Neckář on stage and in studio. Founded in September 1968 by bass guitarist Zdeněk Rytíř, initially as the new backing band of Divadlo Rokoko (Rokoko Theatre). Subsequently renamed to Orchestr Golden Kids in November 1968. Led and conducted alternatively by Josef Vobruba and Bohuslav Ondráček. Disbanded in 1970 after Marta Kubišová’s ban. Some subsequently released recordings still actually performed by the nucleus of the original Golding Kids Orchestra were credited to Czechoslovak Radio Dance Orchestra (TOČR) instead. Eventually transformed into Orchestr Bohuslava Ondráčka. Rhythm section: Ota Petřina (lead guitar), Petr Formánek (keyboards), Zdeněk Rytíř (bass guitar), Petr Hejduk (drums), later also Miloš Svoboda (rhythm guitar), occasionally also Bohuslav Ondráček (piano), alternatively also Vincenc Kummer or Vladimír Hora (studio bass guitar) and Zdeněk Juračka (live bass guitar) Horn section (fluctuating): Richard Kubernát, Václav Týfa, Nikola Janev, Jan Čapoun, Radek Pobořil, Pavel Střítezský (trumpets), Bedřich Beránek, Jan Hynčica, Miroslav Koželuh, Josef “Bažík” Pavelka, Pavel Vitoch (trombones), Milan Ulrich, Vladimír Hruška, František Kryka (saxophones)
