Group formed in 1980 by George Peter Kinyonga when he left Orchestra Simba Wanyika. The band lasted less than a year before George Peter rejoined Simba Wanyika but he still used the name to recrod and release his own songs outside of the main group (for legal reasons). When George Peter returned to Simba Wanyika, the remaining group members joined Super Wanyika Stars with Issa Juma.
