Orion is a French progressive rock band founded in 1975 in Meaux (France) by Patrick Wyrembski, Laurent Delenne and Janusz Tokarz. They are influenced, by their own admission, by Gentle Giant, Genesis, King Crimson, Pink Floyd, Camel and Caravan. The Orion group returns to the forefront of the progressive rock scene in 2013 with the release of an album bringing together previously unpublished compositions and new creations. The third album of the group "The Face Visible" is born in 2015. The group is a success of esteem. At the end of 2017 ORION is back for his 4th album "The Survivor", a concept album that talks about the future of the Planet and the uncertain destiny of humanity. For this new album ORION calls on talented musicians from other horizons such as jazz.
