Vicente Greco has been the first to create an "Orquesta Típica" an in the early years of tango (1911/1912). He called his own orchestra: "Orquesta Típica Criolla", with Criolla to differentiate from other orchestras playing non-local music. This orchestra had not exactly the same composition than Quinteto Criollo Garrote.
