Trini Orville Wright ’74 died on June 21, 2012. He was 68. Originally from Trinidad, Wright studied composition and arranging at Berklee. After graduating he became a Berklee faculty member for 13 years and then served as chair of the Ensemble Department for 15 years. Wright was a renowned pianist and arranger for calypso bands and an active steelpan player who led steelband competitions in Trinidad. He is survived by his wife, Joan, and his children, Sean and Kayron.
