Hip-Hop/Rap and Electronic
Teaching himself how to record songs from the basement of his home in Fort Collins, Colorado, Otem Rellik has been writing, recording and producing music unassisted for more than five years. With an ever increasing list of influences, Otem pulls inspiration from a wide variety of musical genres such as folk, electronic, shoegaze, hip hop and lo-fi pop. Otem's deeply emotional delivery offers up a clear view into his life and often leaves the listener reflecting upon their own. Otem stands mastermind on stage behind a hollowed out suitcase full of mostly homemade electronic gizmos, involuntarily forced through a series of pedals and mixers. His showcase of transparent emotional lyrics and noise has been seen all over Colorado as well as the west coast and an eight stop European tour of Germany and France.
