OUTRAGE was a German pupils punk band formed in 1980 by the brothers Gerald Manns (voc, bass) and Roland Manns (dr) as well as Hans-Jörg Lauffer (gtr). Older brother Thomas Manns helped out on the guitar, but did not become an official member. In 1981 Hanno Rüther (bass) joined the band, Gerald switched to the guitar, which made Hans-Jörg redundant. When one of their songs appeared on an E.P. sampler in 1982, they had already changed their name to Die Zinnförster.
