Often mistaken for being an Italian band, Oxido are in fact a predominantly Swiss outfit. The Italian connection comes courtesy of their guitarist Tank Palmes (real name Tancredi Palamara), who has also spent time with another Swiss band FOR SALE, which features Gotthard vocalist Steve Lee. The early lineup of Oxido also featured Steve De Biasi (guitars) and Max Zack (drums), but this duo would depart before the recording of their only album "Breaking Down The Walls". Some of the members of this band went on to form GUNSHY band. Members: John Luke (vocals); Tank Palmer (guitar); Pat Reilly (keyboards); Mark Levin (bass); Eve Roxx (drums)
