Derelicht provides further evidence of their “shackles-off” approach to producing exceptional and immersive electronic music in this their Semyon Bychkov inspired “Chasing Mirrors” EP from Padre ft Jova. Padre adapts a monologue from the Soviet born orchestral conductor which is further interpreted through the innocent Macedonian vocal of Jova Radevska. An artistically driven package that is mastered by Matt Colton and features heavyweights Christian Löffler (Ki Records), Lakker (R&S) and Tryll on remix duties. As usual with all Derelicht releases there is a clear emphasis on an artist controlled environment where there have been no imposed constraints, bias or timelines.
