Paha Uskonto (Finnish for Bad Religion) was a band formed around 1993 by five guys called Sakke (vocals), Läppä (guitar), Aku (bass), Tune (drums) and Hra Teppis (lead guitar) (Hra is Finnish for Mr). They took the crossbuster logo from Bad Religion but turned it upside down. Their main idea was to play Bad Religion covers in Finnish; BR were yet to visit Finland for the first time back then. As they played shows all around Finland, they gained a huge reputation as a Bad Religion cover band. Their live set included over thirty BR covers. In 1994, the band started thinking about releasing a CD, wherupon they got the legal rights from Epitaph and Bad Religion. The CD was released still in 1994 by Fight Records. When BR went to Finland, Paha Uskonto were originally scheduled to open for them, but for some reason it never happened. Around the end of 1994 they broke up - according to them out of frustration because they couldn't open for BR.
