A.k.a. Pamela Ann Miller
Born: Pamela Ann Miller, September 9, 1948 in Reseda, CA. At high-school she became a long-time friend of Victor Hayden who, at that time, introduced her to the free and easy lifestyle of the bands on the Sunset Strip in the late 1960s. She was a babysitter for Frank Zappa and became a member of the vocal groupie collective known as the Laurel Canyon Ballet Company or the Cherry Sisters. She then became a member of an all-girl group formed by Zappa called the GTO's (Girls Together Outrageously). The group released an album 'Permanent Damage', in 1969, produced by Frank Zappa. She featured as 'The Rock 'N Roll Interviewer' in the Zappa movie "200 Motels" and in Zappa's movies "Video From Hell" & "The True Story Of 200 Motels" as herself. In 1977, she married Michael Des Barres, but divorced in 1991- continuing to use her married name to date. She has written a number of books, teaches in LA and has become an ordained minister.
