A.k.a. Francisco de Paula Prin Villegas
Francisco de Paula Prin Villegas was born on April 2, 1930 in the community of Mume, in the Urdaneta Municipality, his life was dedicated to joropo tuyero, when he was very little he attended the wakes of the May cross, where he was often the Decimero, so much was his talent that many people encouraged him to sing joropo tuyero. His artistic career advanced vertiginously, so much so that he came to represent us in Spain, Mexico, the United States, Saudi Arabia and Japan. I manage to record 59 recordings, and their most popular songs were "Palomita mujer", "Amanecer Tuyero", "El Aguardiente" and "El Beso". In his songs he was accompanied by important personalities from the musical field such as: Pablo Hidalgo, Juan Onofre Machillanda, Juancito Martínez, Ricardo Latorre, Dionisio Bolívar, Gabriel Cirilo Ruiz and his great friend Valerio "El Joven" Calzadilla. In 2000 it was declared Cultural Heritage of Miranda State and on February 11, 2003, with 73 years it dies leaving us its music and its passion for the joropo tuyero.
