A defunct Brazilian death/ thrash metal band from Porto Alegre, Rio Grande do Sul. Formed in 1987. This act started out as Tormentor, then quickly changed their name to Massacre. Just prior to recording 1988's "Rotten Church", the name was changed yet again to Panic. The original line-up split the same year the "Rotten Church" album was released. Remaining band members attempted to carry on with a progressive rock direction and changing the moniker to Laurifer. That same year (1988) the band reformed once again and recorded another two full-length releases in 1992 and 1996, respectively. They folded again in 1998, though they have briefly reformed in the late 2000's and early 2010's. No other studio material has materialized since 1996.
