Four Notes In Search Of A Tune

Album US 1996 on Nihilist label
Spoken Word

Each was created by piecing together the broken remains of multiple separate vinyls with hot glue, angling the pieces in such a way that the needle would drop off the edge of each fragment when the turntable turned clockwise. This would cause a loud thud, which would become a rhythm as the vinyl revolved. All in all, several hundred LPs were destroyed in the process. Can be played at 45 or 33 1/3 RPM. Playback time varies from copy to copy. Limited to 100 copies.
