Drum & Bass production duo Paul Parish & Silvio Perano from London, Britain (UK) From mixtapes to wax, heavy basslines to minimal liquid; DJs and producers Silvio Perano (SMP) & Paul Parish (Paolo) have a combined love of Drum and Bass spanning 20 years. 2011 saw their augmentation, and after some serious studio work PARAMOUNT Music Production was born. Starting out like most fanatics, the pair were often found warming up for the likes of D-Bridge, Alix-Perez and Sigma, DJing at local Hertfordshire clubs nights Liquid Soul and Masterplan. The duo founded the club night “Inter:Act” with a view to promote local DJ talent; and several successful events played host to headline artists Foreign Concept, Krakota and Script to name a few; giving the boys a local name in the scene and pushing their ambition to produce fresh new tunes. PARAMOUNT’s signature style stems from a love of deep, jazzy beats – the more soulful side of DnB, and the pair take huge influence from artists such as Calibre, Mutt, Random movement and D-Bridge.
